Myrtle's Bread Stuffing

Meg's mom makes her mother-in-law Myrtle's yummy stuffing for Thanksgiving every year. It's a family favorite and now that Meg isn't able to go home for Thanksgiving every year we've made it a tradition in our home too.  It's super simple to make but it's one of the best stuffings I've had.  Nothing fancy, just good stuffing.  She cooks it in the bird but we make it in a casserole dish.  We add a couple things when we make it so this is our version of her recipe.

Pepperidge farm herb and bread crumbs (16 oz size for 14lb turkey)
scald 1 qt. milk and add 1/2 lb melted butter
Beat 4 eggs
1 onion (diced)
2 stalks of celery (diced)
1.5 tsp Sage
1.5 tsp Rosemary (chopped fine)
1.5 tsp Thyme (chopped fine)
Salt and Pepper
1 tsp. baking powder if used right away

Mix everything together and stuff into turkey or put in casserole dish.
